Insurance Coverage

Vision Care Consultants of St. Louis is a provider for many vision & medical insurance plans. You may have vision insurance or major medical insurance or you may have both. Check the list below or call (314) 843-5700 to see if we accept your plan.

A vision care plan may partially pay for your vision examination, glasses or contact lenses. Medical insurance may pay a portion of your charges for a medical emergency (eye infection, eye injury, retinal detachment, etc.) or for necessary medical testing needed to manage ocular disease (Glaucoma, Cataract, Diabetes, etc.). Medical insurance usually has a co-payment that needs to be paid at the time that services are rendered in the office.

In order for us to help you get your full insurance benefits, it is very important that every patient present their insurance cards to our front desk before they see our St Louis eye doctors. If you send your son or daughter to our office without a parent, please give them your vision and/or medical insurance card so they can provide that information to our staff. We appreciate your cooperation.
